Mariana Ibañez is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is an expert in architectural core design. Ibañez is also an architect in Argentina and co-owns Ibañez Kim, a design practice located in Cambridge and Philadelphia, that produces projects of various architectural specialties including robotics. Her research interests focus on the combination of architecture, computation and new technology and she’s recently published a book, “Paradigms in Computing”. Ibañez’s work has been displayed at Milan Fashion Week and the National Art Museum in Beijing. She can be heard presenting her work to students at the Harvard Graduate School of Design here.
