Brittany Packnett is vice-president (national community alliances) for Teach For America (TFA) in Washington, DC. For four years, she served as executive director for the organization in St. Louis prior to her current position.
Packnett first joined TFA in 2007 as a “corps member” teaching the third grade in Washington, D.C. According to her bio, she served as a director on TFA’s Government Affairs team and as a legislative assistant for Congressmen Lacy Clay of Missouri, where she worked on education and family policy issues. She also volunteered as executive director for Dream Girls DMV, a mentoring program for girls.
